House of Wax (1953) Poster

A 2019 gallery licenced Alternative Movie Poster (24"x 36") for the horror film "House Of Wax" (1953).

The design team Stan and Vince have created a fantastic 1950's retro style poster here. Screenprinted & limited to just 126 prints, this is an eye-catching & scarce collectable. The original 1953 US 1-Sheet poster (image courtesy of emovieposter) naturally trumpeted the "3-D" projection technology that accompanied the film. Although Stan and Vince feature this in their design, it is subordinated to the stunning artwork.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters. Mondos & AMP's are cinema posters created as art pieces. Generally these have not been made for film marketing purposes but instead are artistic re-interpretations of both classic vintage films & modern movies. Mondo/AMP posters are exceptionally high quality prints, released in strictly limited numbers (invariably sold out on release) & become instant collectables.

This poster has no discernible faults & is as close to mint as you will find (we handle these posters with proper conservation quality gloves in order to keep them as pristine as possible). The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.
