Razorback

Original Vic Fair concept artwork (16"x 18" overall) for the Australian horror film "Razorback" (1984).

Although the final "Razorback" Quad artwork was by Boris Vallejo, Fair created several concept pieces like this. Mounted on card, the artwork consists of a b/w photo with artwork touch-ins, the centrepiece removed in a "slash" shape with red coloured artwork showing through. On top are three separate acetate overlays, each with the stylised film title depicted in different colours. There is a further tracing paper overlay on top. To the right hand margin is a hand-written instruction to the printers.
