La Traviata Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Franco Zeffirelli version of "La Traviata" (1982) with poster illustration by Vic Fair.

This poster is a classic example of Fair's clever use of juxtaposition of imagery, a device he frequently used during the 1980's (his design for Brian Bysouth's "The Emerald Forest" being another excellent example: https://www.moviepostermem.com/The-Emerald-Forest-Poster/55284). Fair's idea of presenting images within a head has been subsequently copied over the years.
