Le Mans Poster

UK Quad linen-backed cinema poster for "Le Mans" (1971), this being one of the most collectable of all Steve McQueen film posters.

The Tom Jung poster illustration is striking, the red/white/blue design resonating with both the US "Stars & Stripes" & the French "Tricoloure". This is a poster where the panted brush-strokes of the composition are clearly evident (in the blue background).

Poster originally folded but now linen-backed (if you prefer an un-backed version, we currently have two examples already listed on the website). Although the poster has been linen-backed it was in excellent condition prior to backing & NO restoration has been undertaken (this is important as although some backed posters have light touch-ins to foldline wear etc, others can have significant over-painting). This is a backed poster that remains in excellent un-restored condition.
