Ship Of Fools Poster

UK Quad poster for the pre-war drama, "Ship of Fools" (1965), poster illustration by Brian Bysouth.

The poster was designed by Bysouth's then boss John Stockle who apparently kept "interfering". Having had to stay late Bysouth rebelled, folded his artwork in half & left it on Stockle's desk. Bysouth was summonsed to Stockle's office the next day expecting to be fired but was told that the mangled artwork was fine but the foldlines just needed touching-in!

The poster has pin-holes to corners/rim, various creases, light marks, nicks etc but still displays to good effect as seen.
