Tales From The Crypt (Comic) Poster

Unusual horror genre poster (14"x 14 1/2") with strikingly graphic imagery & text.

We had a hunch this poster was related to the EC Comics series "Tales From The Crypt" (1950-55) but thanks to Sim Branaghan, Bill Picard & Terry Doyle we can confirm this. Additionally, this imagery appeared in "Tales From The Crypt" episode #23 "Reflections of Death", which was first published April 1951 (see bottom left in the attached image). The artwork was by Al Feldstein.

As to why this particular poster was produced & where it was printed, the mystery continues but it is most likely to date late 1950's-early 1960's.

Poster unfolded with a couple of minor rim dents etc. A fascinating piece of original horror memorabilia & suitably horrific graphics too.
