Zulu Poster

An interesting piece of original Zulu (1964) memorabilia, this being a double-page advertisement (11"x 17") from "Kinematograph Weekly", 9th Jan 1964.

This trade magazine was used by distributors to promote forthcoming films, frequently utilising the artwork from the poster campaigns, as here. The advert interestingly references both the World Premiere (22nd Jan 1964) & the earlier Trade Show (15th Jan 1964). Trade Shows were generally held for the press & critics whilst Premieres included the key stars, various celebrities & sometimes royalty etc.

This item is folded with conservation tape to the reverse rim (it was previously framed).
