Maurice Jarre UK 7" vinyl record of "Lion Of The Desert" issued on RK Records RK 1034 in 1981.

Record looks un-played & in near mint condition. Comes in original picture sleeve presenting the Brian Bysouth artwork that graced the Quad cinema poster promoting the film.

Of particular interest here is the sticker to the front cover. We are sometimes asked about the practice in the 1950's-80's of staggered release of films & here is clear evidence of this with the "West End" release date coming prior to the "Provinces" release. In this case only the larger metropolitan centres would have received the film, with smaller cities/towns being supplied weeks/months later. Interesting also to note that the record release preceded all.
