The Wind Cannot Read Poster

UK Quad poster for "The Wind Cannot Read" (1958), the film starring Dirk Bogarde.

Set in India & Burma during WWII, the film tells the tale of RAF officer Bogarde falling for his Japanese teacher as he strives to learn Japanese for military intelligence. The colourful all encompassing poster illustration is thought to be by Pulford (see the book "British Film Posters" by Sim Branaghan for more information).

The poster has homemade repairs to bottom corner damage, pin-holes, edge nicks, slight foldline wear etc but overall is still in good condition & due to the design the poster still displays to very good effect.
