Adult Fairy Tales Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the American sex-comedy "Adult Fairy Tales" (1978) with poster artwork by Tom Beauvais, the poster coming from the private collection of the artist.

Tom Beauvais worked closely with Tom Chantrell at the Allardyce ad agency before setting up his own business, "Chapman-Beauvais" in 1975. Among the vast roster of posters Beauvais created were "Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid (1969), "Fantastic Voyage" (1966), Mad Max (1979) & Zombie Flesh Eaters" (1980).

This poster was a collaborative venture with cartoonist Colin Leary. Beauvais provided the portrait of the fetching Princess & Leary added the cartoon figures (Leary's name is printed to the right hand border). Beauvais has annotated the reverse in pencil with his signature & added the name of Colin Leary too. A LETTER OF AUTHENTICITY SIGNED BY TOM BEAUVAIS WILL ACCOMPANY THIS POSTER.

Poster unfolded though creased, with small nicks to edges, a 2" conservation tape repair to the upper left rim etc.
