The Great Escape Poster

A 2019 Fan Art screenprint poster (24"x 36") for the Steve McQueen classic "The Great Escape" (1963) with artwork by Steve Chorney.

"Fan Art" posters are private commissions & as such are printed in tiny numbers, the print run for this poster numbering just 90 worldwide. Chorney adopts a deliberately "retro" style in this composition which presents some excellent illustrations of both McQueen & the star-studded supporting cast. The composition also features McQueen flying through air on his motorbike. This poster is in near mint condition. The poster will be sent rolled with protective paper in a sturdy tube. This is a scarce poster & will NOT be discounted.

The Mondo & associated Alternative Movie Poster (AMP) movement began in the early 2000's & represents a rejection of the "modern" photo-based design method of producing cinema posters.
