The System Poster

UK Quad cinema poster for the Michael Winner British drama "The System" (1964) with lovely poster artwork by Tom Chantrell.

"The System" starred frequent Winner collaborator, Oliver Reed. Reed leads a gang of local youths in a seaside town hunting for conquests among the female holidaymakers. An interesting film with an unusual twist, "The System" was shot mostly in Brixham & the surrounding Torbay area. Tom Chantrell created the poster & in typical fashion we have a colourful, beautifully illustrated piece with an enticing tag-line at the top: "HUNTERS AND HUNTED IN THE SEASON'S HOTTEST SPORT!" Poster folded with several pin-holes to corners, general creasing & a few light surface marks but this is a scarce Chantrell Quad that displays to excelllent effect.
