Original 20-page PROGRAMME (NOT a poster) for the 47th Oscars ceremony, at the Music Center Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Los Angeles, 8th April 1975.

The big winner at this year's Oscars was "The Godfather Part II" (1974). Rarely does a sequel out-perform the earlier film. Francis Ford Coppola's "The Godfather" (1972) received five Oscar nominations (winning "Best Picture" & "Actor") but the sequel gathered eleven nominations & won five: "Best Picture", "Director", "Supporting Actor", "Music" & "Art direction". Performers at the Oscars included Aretha Franklin, Frankie Laine, Jack Jones & Sammy Davis Jr.

Programme with an embossed "Oscar", with 2" split to spine, a few nicks & small stain to cover, neat pencil annotations to contents by original owner & an unidentified autograph to the back cover & overall in good condition.
