UK Quad cinema poster for the classic British gangster film "The Long Good Friday" (1980), the film starring Bob Hoskins & Helen Mirren.

This was an important film being pivotal in the big screen careers of both Hoskins & Mirren. However, the film was destined just for a TV release until ex-Beatle George Harrison stepped in & Handmade Films provided a cinema release instead. The film is also noteworthy for introducing Pierce Brosnan as an IRA assasin in his cinema debut.
